Innovating in today’s world is no longer only about having the brightest people or the biggest R&D budget. It’s also about harnessing the power of communities and industry eco-systems – enabling customers, vendors and partners to co-create.

2 years ago, SWIFT created such a community, swiftcommunity.net where the financial community debates, networks, and shares best-practice and advances critical dialogue. Today they have over 200 communities, close to 15.000 members and the most important goal of SWIFT Community is not to become a several millions community like in Facebook, but to leverage the collective intelligence among its members to find new projects, ideas and collaborative opportunities.

Matteo Rizzi, who in 2007 created this community, will be presenting at the Enterprise Social 2.0 summit on the 27 & 28 January 2010 in Amsterdam.. He will be sharing his knowledge and experience on evaluating the pros and cons of implementing social media in large businesses. He will be discussing on how to manage negative comments, create healthy interaction and what kind of metrics to use for measurement.
We met Matteo at LeWeb conference in Paris and here what he is saying about his presentation in Amsterdam:
